Place Design Group was engaged by Brisbane Economic Development Agency (formerly Brisbane Marketing) to partner in an initiative which aimed to drive collaboration and economic sustainability in Brisbane’s precincts. Focused on the pilot precinct of Latrobe & Given Terrace, the ongoing project encompasses the development of a clearly articulated vision and key strategic direction for the precinct, jointly owned by stakeholders and documented in a ‘Precinct Plan’.

The plan is being achieved through
external stakeholder facilitation to build
greater precinct relationships and alignment
across asset owners, retailers and local
businesses; the development of governance
structures and sustainable funding streams;
and the collaborative formation of the
precinct identity, underpinned by Latrobe &
Given Terraces’ inherent characteristics.
